What's "Up Chuck"?

Wow, it’s Friday again!! This week has been especially hectic for me in relation to work. I guess it should be, seeing as I’ve been away from the office pretty much for two weeks, what with the Chicago trip and the vacation to Canada last week. I’ve been making up a lot of lost time. Yesterday, while taking a break from work, I ran into Wal-Mart to get my son’s Santa gifts out of layaway. Uh, hello? The place was a mad house! Yeah, I expect the store to be crazy this close to Christmas, but what I didn’t expect was the LONG line at the layaway department. It took me about thirty minutes, but finally I did get all the loot. Come to find out though, he already has several of the toys we purchased at his Mom’s house. So I guess this will require another trip back to return them, then buy something else. Oh what joy....I’m thinking the kid has got enough! Susan is freakishly excited about the new King Kong movie. I don’t mean she’s got the hots for the ape....I mean, seriously...she’s got all of me and my 6'5" mass of hunky-ness (see pic a few posts below...LOL). She’s just really wanting to see the flick. She even went online Wednesday and bought four tickets so we could all go see it on Saturday. She had a guest on the air with her radio show who said it put Star Wars and the Lord of the Ring movies to shame. I’m not sure about that, (sounds a little far fetched), but I’m willing to give it a try. I’ll let you all know what I think after I see it. Past, and future, trips to WM aside...I’m actually getting kinda excited about Christmas. I can’t believe it’s only like 9 days away. Susan and I don’t really exchange gifts, seeing as we pretty much get whatever we need throughout the year, but there is something I’m really wanting and needing bad. Just in case she decides to read my blog (highly unlikely) I thought I’d just say how I’m really needing a new backpack thingy that holds my laptop. Specifically this one from Swiss Army. When I was walking through O’Hare two weeks ago the strap on my current computer brief case totally ripped in half. I like the idea of having a professional looking back pack since they are so much easier to carry, seeing as I have two shoulders and a back....anyway, we shall see. In conclusion, I thought I’d post a picture of our Christmas Tree. It’s definitely beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here!! Have a great weekend! Oh, I almost forgot.
